ok. havent updated for 2 days. will try and recall... not in much detail though...
3/4: somehow couldnt sleep through the night. woke up but didnt feel up to it but had to get up to go for mass. first thing i got down, found out from mom that Pope John Paul II passed on. during mass we observed about a minute of silence to give our respect to our leader.
4/4: just got reminded during band that the syf is a "planned series of events" and that we must play in tune, tone, time and touch/feel. i seriously need to bear these pointers in mind. especially the one on tone. my sl says i tongue too hard. whatever. i hardly tongue at all. probably my lips and air control. but whatever. just as long as i dont stand out. which i harly do but seem to be doing a bit more often at the beginning of the year. now its more controlled.
had a talk by our principal ms tan on subject combinations for sec3. im most probably taking english, chinese, maths, a maths, full geog, ss/his, pure chem, pure physics and aep. im trying to drop out of aep or get an approved "quit" slip. with band and the subjects i want to take, my life will be hell. thise without band are taking combine science[most probably phy/chem]. i think ill take pure science then if i cannot make it, combine the subs in sec4.
5/5[today]: observed a minute of silence during morning assembly and had a memorial mass at 12.35 in the hall. the priest said that the our father is not about holding hands[i agree] but is actually a petition[i agree] to say by yourself[i disagree]. you hold hands to show unity. remember the saying "2 is always better than 1"? it applies to praying too. im going to ask my catechism teacher about this. obviously the church one. the school one is a complete bum.
finally cleared my new study area to be used almost properly. almost. xD
